I hope this finds you well during these challenging times.

Given growing concern about the spread of the coronavirus and how it’s affecting our lives as we know it, I want to update you on theKFORDgroup’s Business Continuity Plan.

We just got news today that IRS is delaying the individual income tax payment deadline from April 15th to July 15th for most taxpayers, but we are still hard at work for our clients in that and all areas of our business, just like normal.

Below is some information on how we will continue to meet our clients’ needs while also keeping our employees, clients, and communities as safe as possible.

  • We continue to encourage the use of our secure portal to transfer information. If you don’t have a portal (or if you have forgotten how to use it), contact us and we will get you set up.
  • Should you wish to deliver tax information or pick up tax returns, our office will remain staffed during our normal business hours of 8:30 – 5:30. To protect our employees and clients, we are attempting to limit visitors in our office. Please call us at 210-340-8351 and we will be happy to meet you in our parking lot to exchange information.
  • The majority of our staff will be working remotely until March 31, 2020, so all in-person meetings will be postponed until April.
  • Remote employees will have access to phones and emails. Continue to contact us in the ways you always have.

Because this situation is evolving daily, we will keep you updated on any additional changes.

In the meantime, stay safe, be kind, and remember to support the small businesses and charities that you love. They need your patronage now more than ever so they will be around when we come through this.

Please do not hesitate to reach out to me or any member of our team. We are here for you.
