Donna joined theKFORDgroup as Office Manager in October 2003. Her responsibilities include the firm’s bookkeeping, payroll processing, and employee benefit administration. She serves as our network administrator, installing software, troubleshooting our computers and maintaining our office equipment. It is this role that keeps Donna most busy and is vital to our day-to-day operations.
While in high school Donna started working as an assistant bookkeeper. It became obvious that this was her niche and for many years she worked in the retail industry as a full-charge bookkeeper. She eventually moved into an administrative assistant position where she gained valuable human resource and personnel management experience while staffing three new stores. Over the years Donna has also worked in property management, banking and school administration. In addition, she has owned and operated small businesses for more than 25 years. This strong background in office administration and bookkeeping has enabled Donna to wear the many hats needed in her position at theKFORDgroup.
Donna has attended numerous seminars to further expand her knowledge and to stay on top of new developments to our tax and accounting software. This is instrumental in keeping theKFORDgroup in the forefront of the ever-changing high-tech world we operate in.
Outside the office Donna enjoys traveling, spending time with family and friends and working crossword puzzles. She is the proud mother of two grown sons, Rick, owner of an electrical contracting business, and Jason, a firefighter, and doting grandmother to Ethan and Abbie.
